That is as close as I can get with it before it butchers the image or your page bud. I'd suggest making the image inside the infobox a tad smaller so it does not exceed image. I'll try to fix it a bit with css. But not more I can do without wrecking stuff. :/

Hey, if you want a new background added, you would have to have a wallpaper you want and then an admin would have to enter it into the CSS of the wiki.

I don't know anything about D2 mechanics because I've not played the game. Primus Draug'oth might be able to tell you more about it.
Destinypedia:Bureaucrats. Currently they are offline but they'll see your request as the page is on their notifications list. In the meantime develop your page's lore as if your name has changed.
Templates are either like infoboxes, what you see on character pages or faction pages, or like the Fallen/Solar System type infoboxes. The former detail that specific faction or character while the latter groups most of the major stuff under a single easy to get to format for the average wiker.
Don't forget to add categories when making new articles. If you aren't sure what category look through a page that has them. If you're making a Fallen-related article and don't know the right template look through the main Fallen page.
Eh, not really. Though it has sources, it could use some images and a more organized format. Plus, we usually nominate pages based not on in-universe significance, but rather whether or not they reflect the goals we as a wiki strive to achieve. Think of them as the bar setters—what we would ideally like each and every page to be. Wiki pages that do that are nominated.
